| | · What happens if the internet connection is disconnected? If the internet connection at the protected object is disconnected, an alarm goes off at the security control center (VNC) signaling an interrupted connection. This is also detected by the IP_AC interface which tries to transfer the event over the telephone line.
In case of the telephone line being down as well, it uses the GSM (GPRS) network. With that it is made sure that the security control center is informed of the disconnected internet link while keeping an active secondary connection.
